Behind the name are three artists: composer and producer Valgeir Sigurðsson (known for his collaborations with Björk, Feist and Anohni), countertenor and director Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe, and Belgian violinist Elisabeth Klinck. The fictional persona of Isabelle Lewis serves as a vessel for their shared artistic vision, a shapeshifter with three distinct sonic dimensions somewhere between melancholy and modernity. Each track unfolds as a dynamic soundscape, revealing new layers and textures that invite deep listener engagement.

Isabelle Lewis' music defies any attempt to neatly define or contain it.
