About Maro
MARO, the Portuguese multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer, studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and has since built an impressive career at remarkable speed. With her unique blend of pop, folk, world music, and electronica, she has created a distinctive sonic universe that resonates with audiences around the world. Since her debut in 2018, MARO has released five albums and an EP, collaborating with artists such as Eric Clapton, Lizzy McAlpine, Ivan Lins, and Sílvia Pérez Cruz. Her participation in Eurovision 2022, alongside the global success of Saudade, Saudade, firmly established her on the international stage.
In recent years, MARO has continued to showcase her versatility through a range of projects—from the intimate hortelã, which received the José Afonso Award for Portuguese Album of the Year, to the electronic collaboration LIFELINE with NASAYA, as well as a series of sold-out tours worldwide. She has shared stages with artists including Jacob Collier, ODESZA, and Parcels, and has opened arena shows for Shawn Mendes.
