Concertagenda Rio Kosta

When Mike Del Rio and Kosta Galanopoulos joined forces for their debut as Rio Kosta, they did so with a clear vision in mind — guided by what they described as their own 'bible of aesthetic ideals’, which shaped all aspects of their creative process. Ideal number one: "Don’t fuck with nature”. This is how Unicorn (2025) was born — organically. Through lengthy jam sessions and late-night conversations, the duo discovered their shared strengths. Their voices intertwine naturally as they move effortlessly between soul, indie and R&B, and even folk and touches of psychedelia. Sun-drenched and dreamy, yet also mysterious and darkly edgy.

Their true power, however, reveals itself as soon as they take to the stage. Together, they can make an intimate venue feel like Coachella at sunset, and they wouldn’t have seemed out of place at the original Woodstock. Their expansive jam sessions are reminiscent of Khruangbin, while their diverse heritage — Greek, Spanish, Italian and Puerto Rican — adds a cosmopolitan richness that many artists would envy. Hypnotic grooves, streamlined harmonies, melancholic lyrics and basslines that go straight to the heart: Rio Kosta create music that doesn’t just invite you to listen — it invites you to feel.
