Concertagenda Stanley Clarke N*4Ever

About Stanley Clarke N*4Ever
Stanley Clarke is widely regarded as one of the most influential bassists in history. As co-founder — alongside Chick Corea — of the 1970s jazz fusion powerhouse Return to Forever, Clarke redefined the role of the electric bass in jazz. With School Days, he crafted one of the most iconic bass-centric jazz albums of all time. He can lay claim to four Grammys and an Emmy — a nod not only to his virtuosity, but also to his prolific work composing countless soundtracks for film and television. Not to mention how his playing style (fast, melodic, and punctuated by his signature funky slap technique), along with his preference for shortscale, handmade bass guitars, has inspired generations of bassists worldwide.
Over his career, he has collaborated with nearly every major figure in jazz and beyond, from Art Blakey and Dexter Gordon, to Pharoah Sanders and Stewart Copeland of The Police. Since 2022, Clarke has been touring globally with his 4EVER band, featuring the next generation of top-tier musicians: Jeremiah Collier (drums), Beka Gochiashvili (keys), Colin Cook (guitar), and Emilio Modeste (saxophone). Together, they refresh Clarke’s legacy, embracing new energetic arrangements. True to the evolution of fusion, their music flows freely through rock, funk, hip-hop, and even electronica. Be prepared!
