Concertagenda De Beren Gieren

Fuzzy Bears is the adventurous alter ego of the Belgian jazz trio De Beren Gieren, born from a deep exploration of modular synths and electronic soundscapes. What began as an experiment with vintage electronics at the Willem II Institute in the Netherlands has since grown into a bold expansion of the trio’s identity. They composed ten pieces that evoke a world between dream and experiment, with influences from artists such as Cluster, Mort Garson, Hiroshi Yoshimura, and Brian Eno. Both in the studio and live on stage, Fuzzy Bears offers a forward-thinking and immersive listening experience that pushes the boundaries of jazz and electronics.

On stage, the adventure takes its most daring form. Instead of relying on the original vintage synths, the trio reinterprets the studio’s electronic textures with a streamlined setup designed for live performances.
