Flying Horseman is back. After five years of silence, the band formed around Bert Dockx is back in an adjusted setting but with renewed vigour and new work. On 'Anaesthesia’, their seventh record set to be released in September, the band sounds urgent and focused: brooding psychedelica, imploring electronica, bubbling anger and poetic introspection with a clear message. 'Anaesthesia’ forms a burning opposition to the madness of today: the polarisation, the injustice, the emptiness. It is music as antidote, consolation and indictment. New members Louis Evrard (drums) and Maximilian Dobbertin (bass) add a fresh drive without letting go of the dark mysticism of earlier. Existing fans will immediately feel at home.
