With her warm mix of MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), bossa nova, samba and jazz, Mari Froes brings the Brazilian sun to Ghent. Inspired by Brazil’s musical traditions, she manages to authentically weave modern elements into traditional rhythms.

What started with intimate YouTube covers — now reaching millions — quickly grew into original work. Since her debut singles "Moça” and "Rosa e Laranja” and her dreamy EP "Nebulosa”, Froes has been steadily building a global fan base drawn to her gentle intensity and melodic finesse.

2024 put her firmly on the international map: her COLORS performance of "Gabriela” showcased an artist with magnetic presence, her interpretation of "Figa de Guiné” went viral on TikTok and her collaboration "Vaitimbora” with the French duo Trinix gathered millions of streams worldwide.
