Belgian-Canadian singer-songwriter Sophia Ammann invites listeners to join her in opening a new chapter. After years of touring with her acclaimed Leonard Cohen tribute project, Sophia presents her long-awaited solo debut. "Here I Am” is a collection of idiosyncratic, cinematic songs, that unfold like compelling stories, infused with a touch of magical realism. Music at the intersection of indie, folk and country. The album was recorded in the US with producer Shane Leonard (Josh Ritter, Anna Tivel).

In her live performance, Sophia is accompanied by musicians including bassist Tim Vandenbergh (known for his work with Colorist Orchestra and SunSunSun), who also played a key role in the album’s production and arrangements across sessions in Belgium and the US.
