Over Jim Jefferies
Internationally acclaimed comedian Jim Jefferies is heading back to the Netherlands this fall, but not in his usual stadium-filling style. This time, the Aussie favorite is going small, taking the stage at the iconic Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam on September 24th as part of his brand-new world tour, Son of a Carpenter. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 13th.
For over 15 years, Jim Jefferies has been one of the most bold and beloved voices in comedy. He shot to international fame with a no-holds-barred style that blends razor-sharp wit, fearless social commentary, and brutally honest personal stories.
Since his breakout special Contraband in 2008, Jefferies has released ten full-length stand-up specials, including five hits on Netflix. His latest, High & Dry (2023), earned praise for its unique mix of introspection and unapologetic laughs—covering everything from the laziness of koalas to the chaos of parenting and why he’s officially sworn off booze.
Beyond the stage, Jefferies has made his mark as an actor and writer, creating and starring in the cult FX sitcom Legit, and hosting the smart, satirical The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central for three seasons.
While Jefferies is known for performing in massive arenas and stadiums around the world, he’s deliberately taking a different approach on this European tour. This time, he’s trading in the big crowds for more intimate theaters - closer to the audience, rawer, and more personal.
